Apart from specials modified cars used as well as vintage but interesting to see the development over the years I have been involved Beetls and Imps obviously Google as weight over the back wheels but surprisingly 2CV's were useless until the got them sorted with weight in font ot the front wheels now very competitive as are Golf's..
Fingle Hill a two mile climb but at the top was a stop start section which I was in charge of many times riders were so exhausted that we used to let them time to recover.. they had to stop by me then I would let them go then around a right angle bent they had to stopp within two lines cars and bikes if you crossed a line it was a fail ..this was towards the end of the trial so competitors really tired.. Funny thing was next day after the trial would meet many competitors at Hatherliegh Autojumble .. looking for parts..
