My memory's a bit foggy but back in the early 60's I was apprenticed at a R/Royce and Jag main dealership with another apprentice whose father owned Starley's Garage in a Brighton backstreet.
Lionel Starley used to do hill climbs in a 1930's Morris 8 fitted with a Jag 2.4 engine. I do remember that there was no room for the front seats as the engine and gearbox came right back into the cabin. It was known as 'The Miracle Morris'.
