Yes, it suddenly changed with the electricity price rise. Still cost less to use a diesel car than an electric one now. I suspect sales will collapse and the petrol hybrid self charging car sales will soar averaging about 55 mpg for some 2 litre versions. I will be getting one later in the year. 2 litre petrol with battery capable of about 25 miles for town driving. Half my mileage is local so it makes sense.
