There were supposed to be Harleys buried at an airfield. They did try a dig but none found. A lot of stores were dumped though when the war ended. Not economical to return it to the States. When the Naval store closed in Exeter, there was an auction of all the surplus and a lot was date marked as made in the 1940s. I did go to the auction but no use for 10 RIB boats or troop carrier
