A workplace I was once at asked staff to write non-fiction articles to encourage thinking amongst students.

Mine was going to be: 'Why my 75yr old motorcycle is more 'green' than your electric car can ever be.'

Doesn't seem particularly controversial to me (blatantly obvious, you might say) but I decided I just couldn't face the BoF stereotyping and prejudice that I could imagine would follow its publication so I binned it.

Oh well, as far as I can see that fight for sanity and reason is long lost. In the meantime I think it's, eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow...
