I bought a Honda Cub 90 in 2012 with which to practice riding again after a big crash on the Matchless. My club chums graciously allowed me to join them on brunch runs. It was surprisingly quick around the lanes and I mostly kept up/caught up with them with a bit of spirited cornering.



A couple of months later I rode it 124 miles with camping gear to a rally but fell off whilst stationary waiting at the check-in gazebo, fracturing my elbow and arm. Luckily it was the already useless one. When I got back from hospital the ladies fussed me whilst I threw up (from the anaesthetic and pain relief drugs) whilst waiting for my son to collect me in the car. A pal trailered my bike and camping gear home for me.



I later 'graduated' to a Honda 125 on which I made several trips around France and a thrash to Spain and back just out of bloody mindedness.
