Standard devious build for French vehicles. My 2 mechanic boys hate the French vehicles. My own Renault Megane i bought in 2005 needed an indicator lamp. This involves removing the wheel and inner wing. Then find someone with a tiny hand to fit through a small trap door to remove the lampholder which cannot be seen. Then fiddle blindly trying to fit the lamp. Workshop time at a dealer is 1.5 Hours.
Many cars and vans require removal of most of the front body parts to do any work on the engine. The modern vehicle is not designed with repairs in mind. Just 10 year life and recycle. Modern Jaguars have plastic parts that bio-degrade but sometimes, the car is still being driven. Inlet manifolds just collapse and holes appear in the plastic.
