Lannis, the cruise company insist on cover. If i land by plane in Barbados to get on a ship, i still need it. I am landing by plane in Malta September and then boarding a ship. Insurance certificate is examined before boarding along with covid certificates and a covid test done just before boarding. Last covid test had to be in a chemist and cost 60 pounds for them to sign it as done. I think i might be holidaying more in the UK in the next few years. Strange that i could stay overseas in a hotel and not have to have insurance. Maybe its the high cost the ship Docctor charges starting at over 300 pounds to say you have a headache, here are some paracetamol. Never made a claim on travel insurance as i tend to do safe things in Foriegn lands
