I used to have a pair of those goggles. Scraped the paint off and it was made of brass so polished them up. A bit before the full face helmet came about.
I had a Stadium jet helmet in fibreglass and when it hit the ground hard in 1979, it had 3 big dings in it so no use again for that one. It did save my head though.
