Normally, most people take one a day. I take two on Drs instructions and have been for 10 years. No side effect at all and they are for cholesterol. I have hypertension(blood pressure too high) so have another tablet for that as well as an aspirin and another heart protection drug. No effects from those either.
They are perfectly safe Jerry but travel insurers will load your policy and it may become near 1000 to go abroad if on a ship. They do not like customers with high cholesterol.
If the DR recommends these drugs, i would do it rather than risk the stroke, heart attack etc.
All my medicines are for safety and protection from heart attacks that i have never had so far.
I take two 20mg Atorvastatins per day.
