It is a minefield. I thought Lynbrooks would be good last year as I had a forthcoming change of bike due and Lynbrook don't charge for that. The cost went up a lot more than expected though and they wanted £440 this year.

I tried a couple for multibike policies but Nash said £389, Footman said minimum £338 before knowing about the bikes and Peter James said no because the new bike is higher value than the old bike. Bikesure said £280 the two.

I finished up insuring £9k of 7 month old BMW for £118 (No breakdown cover its under warranty) and £7k of Norton for £111 including breakdown. That could have been £73 with more limited recovery.

Biggest hassle was requoting after I'd used the NCD on the BMW then remembering which quote had what spec.
