Hi Andy, I've been watching the site since its earliest days and used to drop the odd comment, but some responses were a little snide so didn't respond. I used to ride a lot around Romney Marsh back in the 70's and came a cropper with ditches at the side of the road with my old Triumph Tiger 750. I ended up somersaulting into a ditch near there taking a corner a little too enthusiastically. I wasn't hurt and the bike came out ok but it gave a lot of entertainment to a nursery of kids that saw it happen. The folk there help me recover the bike and get it into shape to get back to Canterbury where I lived at the time. If I'd been injured in the accident it could have been a lot worse, hence my respect for ditches at the side of the road. I know there are instances where cars have entered the ditches in the Somerset levels only to come a cropper. Take care and get well
