It really depends what you mean by high value. The upper value limits set by many policies aren't really very high, just a grand or two per item.
If you need much higher values you will have to provide written valuations and get a policy negotiated by a broker ( = not an online comparison site!).
In my limited experience if you get a good broker its not difficult or expensive. My broker has arranged a suitable policy with Zurich.
