CF Moto are part of Pierer Mobilty, who own KTM amongst others. Import into the UK is now by KTM - not sure if this is a good thing or not. KTMs have not featured on my wish list due (in part) to reliabilty concerns & suggestions the KTM are not very generous with warranty work. Can't find much chatter about CF Moto reliabilty issues, though, and the old importer (Quadzilla) online parts imformation for the models I might have an interest in showed most parts available ex-stock at moderate prices.
Benelli (part of QJ Motor which, in turn, is owned by Geely) and (I think) Voge (which is part of Loncin - a long-time Honda collaberator) are handled by Moto GB. That in itself is offputting to me, having had my Interceptor though them when they handled RE - I can't say it was a happy experience & their current "fire sale" of RE stock they had on hand when RE took over can't be helping used values for existing owners or the official dealers. Looking at their online parts lists for the Benelli I might have been interested in showed very poor parts availabilty at much higher prices than CF Moto. Talking to a dealer about my concerns he didn't inspire confidence - Moto GB being very strict on servicing for warranty claims & "lookng for ways to avoid" claims. I wasn't reassured either that "they take parts off new bikes in the warehouse" if they are out of stock.
At the CF Moto dealer I had a chat with a guy who had just returned from a test ride on a CF Moto 800 MT (I think). He had gone originally to ride a Moto Guzzi V85TT & took the CF Moto out afterwards - he said the CF Moto was a better bike then the MG in terms of performance & comfort, with the icing on the cake being it was cheaper fully equipped (3 piece hard luggage, heated seat (since when have those been a "thing" ? ) crash bars, fog lights etc. ect. than the basic MG. 4 years warranty as well.
Depreciation is also a concern, as is an apparent lack of interest in taking them in p/x at all from mainstream dealers. This will probably change in time, but I think I will sit on the fence a bit longer.
