Decided to go out on the KH in the early evening yesterday, boy was it hot.

I had the vents open on my jacket, and the zip about a 1/3 undone but I was still sweating like a pig.

Also loads of tiny little flies around that get inside your helmet and jacket and make you itch, had to make regular stops to brush myself down.

Even so did about 40 miles or thereabouts, by the time I arrived home the air was lovely and cool.

Probably do it all again this evening despite the heat and flies.

All too soon we will be moaning about the cold / wet etc.

Nights are already starting to draw in a little now - sunset is 9PM this evening or therabouts.
