Quite right, Jerry. I went out for a few beers with my old Head of Dept last night. Had a lovely time but still very glad I took the opportunity to stop whilst I still loved the job.

And since I've relegated the car to the road my garage has a lot of space. I can't really justify more than a couple of bikes (and my mate's BMW that's been living with me for a while now) so I suppose the eternal rotation of frustrating classic fun will just have to continue - my standard approach is: buy a classic, be tormented by minor things the PO didn't fix. Fix them, enjoy, get bored, look for new challenges for my amateur bodgings. The full process normally takes about a fortnight but keeps me very happy! I've had the ST for a month and it's now as it always should have been. I'm doing my best not to get bored (after all I should never have sold that R100R you delivered) but I'm really not good at that!!

I've already realised what everyone says: how did I ever find time to go to work?!
