I think it was a reaction to bikers boating about what a great road and the speeds they could do.


And then they complain when its over-policed! Doh! It's why anyone with half a brain doesn't publicize their favourite roads.
Locally we keep ours as secret as possible but unfortunately some twunt in a bike mag usually writes them up and we have to wait a year or so for their readers to forget & calm to be restored.
