Went out on the Spudmasher this afternoon, have tried all the "features" except for the "mode" settings, which are Rain and Road - default is Road.

Rain mode just reduces the amount of torque and power so less chance of spinning up in the wet.

It is a pretty laid back bike to ride anyway compared to the buzzy / frenetic 660, but in Rain mode it is even more laid back.

Still has plenty of grunt in Rain mode but it is even smmother, it just takes the edge off the power delivery, it also makes it more manageable around town. Fuel consumption is also noticeably reduced.

Absolutley lovely pottering around at 50 / 60 in todays nice warm sunshine, and no slow cars / ditherers / buses / tractors around today, the motorcycle gods were smiling on me.

Now give me a nice sunny morning tomorrow and I will be out for an early one
