This was a modle of a Supemarine S6 seaplane it was found in the Okehampton re cycling centre by Graham.. It was badly damaged wings broken off very grubby and covered in candle wax..
Graham gave it to me to see if it was any good..
So after many hours of cleaning and re- constructing parts it's now finnished all the brass parts were corroded like the float struts and radiators on sides and underneath the brass wire rigging was mostly missing.. Now finnished..
So not bad for an oldun who's eyesight is bad and shaking hands
It was made by a company that dose wooden aircraft as a desk piece they even make a scooter
