OK answers.. Top Left an early Ingersoll Crown poket watch a guided case and metal dial . The basic Ingersoll had a paper Dial and a metal case It was known as the Dollar watch as that was the price..
Top right is a genuine Railway watch Swiss movement of quality sold by Edward Taylor of London. Nickel case. And key winding..
Bottom right A Goliath .. Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway this is an eight day watch the spring is almost as big as the case..
Now the wrist watch as you can see it's an Ingersoll.. At the beginning of the first WW the English government put out a call for cheap wrist watches for soldiers in the first WW not many wrist watches were made only very expensive..
So Ingersoll came to the rescue producing a small cheap movement and case.. as you can see the winding button still in the same place as a pocket watch.. the dial was of printed paper and the numerals were painted with Radium for the dark
