Mentioned a while ago one of my favourite roads is covered in grooves where the top dressing has worn away.

After riding it yesterday I have now declared it unrideable, yesterday I really thought I was going to lose it, probably down to the high winds, everything just felt so unstable.

This is despite decent tyres inflated to the correct pressures.

There is a minor road / lane that I will have to use in future to avoid the crap road surface.

Council did top dress another one of my favourite roads last weekend - dont know why as there was nothing wrong with the surface, there are plenty of others that are diabolical.
