I have bought 6 items from China recently. Mostly low value plastic parts. This week, a £4.50 part had £1 VAT added but not on all the others.
Sometimes i get caught with Imports. Just bear in mind if you buy pricey items, i can be a big increase. USA buys attract the largest import taxes but not often i buy from the USA now. India purchases have never had any add ons.
