Lucky me has a chain on the Toyota. They can still break though as i found in 1976 when a Toyota 2 litre of my Brothers snapped a chain at 50,000 miles and went out through the alloy cover.
If you want to see a complex cam belt, have a look at the Fiat sports car of the 1990s with a 5 cylinder engine.
