Very wise, Bryan... I went for a very hilly 15k run this morning - over my favourite hilly, muddy and wet route with a 50yard 5' high tunnel shared with a stream.

It was great... until I trod on a bramble with my left foot and carried on with my right. A dozen lovely deep shin cuts. Oh well. Not the first time. Next, I clipped a tree root with my left toe and landed face first in the mud. More cuts, to knees this time, and a very muddy body. The icing on the cake was that as I landed one of those velcro plants attached half of itself to my shirt so I ran home dripping blood, covered in mud, wet, knackered and looking like I was a sniper in a ghilly suit carrying half the countryside on my back.

Makes motorcycling look positively safe!!
