Yes I am aware of the electric starter Ian. I presume yours is the type developed by my mate's, Phil Pearson and John Edwards. I fitted one on a Touring Goldie I rebuilt for an elderly friend, it also had a prop stand, so no struggling there, problem solved.
I can fully understand your circumstances for fitting one. I am lucky in still being in reasonable health for my age, and as said, can still use the kickstart. I am working on the assumption, if I can't start it, I probably won't be strong enough to ride it. Who knows what the future holds.
