Boxing day is the annual ride to Exmouth seafront from Exeter quay. So, i have to go to Exeter and ride back. Most riders are a bit chicken and ride to the seafront without making the start. Weather should be 13C so pretty good. About 100 bikes of all types as its not just an old bike ride.
It coincides with the annual fun run which had decided to run right through the area we stand and park bikes rather than they using the other side of the road. They start shouting and hollering and we just move sideways a bit.
They did say we would not be able to stay in our traditional spot until we said we have been doing this 30 years and then you decide that we should move becausee you want our space. That did not go well so we both stand firm and try to avoid a clash
