As I didn't drink more than a pint or two last night, thought I would 'beat the bounds' this morning. Open the curtains, fog. Can't even see the bikes in the car park. Bugger. Have another coffee. Look out again at noon, bright sun. Hooray! Take the cover & the locks off the 'bird, go back in to get the gear on.
Go back out. Fogs back. Soddit, I'll go anyway. Give the riverside town of Upton a miss, know it'll be foggy as hell due to the proximity of the river. Turn off to Malvern, bright sunshine again. Consider going to British Camp, parking the bike & walking up the Hill. Then realise I can't see the Malvern Hills because of low cloud. Out of the town, more fog. Back home instead.
Didn't see another bike. Also noticed 50% of cars did not have their lights on, despite the murk.
