I didn't like the first generation model (which is what Andy's is IIRC) as I found the riding position cramped and locked me in - and I am lot more "compact" vertically than you. Mine is the second generation 411 (sometimes referred to as the Euro5 model) that has a revised seat and cut-back fairing support bars for more leg room and less for/aft restriction on the seat. Still not suoer roomy, but OK for my 5' 9" / 31" inseam frame.
I changed from my Classic 500 to get a more relaxed leg position (set / footpeg relationship) as the 500 was causing problems with an arthritic hip. The Him is a lot better in this regard, but I don't think it is as comfortable over distance due to the narrow (and very soft) standard seat. The aftermarket RE Touring seat is firmer and more comfortable than the standard, but still not as good as the 500. Might look to have the now replaced standard seat re-upholstered to make it a bit wider and incorporate a gel pad for more support.
Preformance-wise it is a bit early to say. I got mine late July & have a round 1500 miles on now, but 1250 of those were at the very sedate running in schedule that RE stipulate. Overall performance to date is similar to the 500, but smoother overall. Less capacity & power/torque mean it has to be worked a bit harder to access the limited "performance", and smaller, lighter flywheels mean it won't run down to as low revs as the 500 without chain snatch. The lack of torque compared to the 500 is noticable & means more gearchanging. But it is happy to hold 50/60 mph under most circumstances encountered so far.
Under the running-in protocol I have been getting high-80s / mid-90s mpg so far on what was initially a vrey tight motor that is freeing off noticably now. Mrs B's Scram 411 has recorded over 110mpg during running in - not sure why her bike is more economical than mine other than there is a noticable weight difference & no standard screen. Hers was also built in 2024 where mine is a 2022 model year bike - maybe different ECU settings ? Talking to other owners at this year's MZ AGM camp (Hims were popular ! ) all said that they need several thousand miles to properly free up.
Yes there are a lot of nadgery nooks and crannies to hold road dirt & the "styled for looks not for function" rear mud and chain guards don't keep much off. Par for the course with a modern bike.
