They are certainly functional, and would not win a beauty competion, but they seem to be very good at running in all winds and weathers.
They are fine for A and B roads and lanes and with a 1 tooth smaller gearbox sprocket is reasonable on the motorway for short distances, around 15 miles or so. The 1 tooth really does not impact performance but mine has had the air delete done, as well as more open exhaust, airbox and free flow filter so maybe has a tiny bit more grunt than a bog standard one.
No idea how economical they are, but would estimate somewhere between late 50's to early 60's mine which is a 2019 model definatley runs better on E5, but then again tell me something that does not
Size wise it would probably fit you as the seat is quite high (contemplating fitting a lowering kit to mine). Brakes let it down a bit, rear is fine, but the front lacks power. I fitted some Brembo pads to the front of mine which improved it a bit.
Comfort is something that a lot of people like to discuss. Being honest it is a "50 mile" seat but that does not bother me as I like to stop along the way - the seat does soften a bit with age.
As suggested the only way to see if you like them are give them a try - there is an RE dealer in Taunton (GV Bikes) which is where I got mine from.
Who needs a signature anyway......
