Think it has been nearly 4 months between deciding on the big strip and rebuilding it.

Along the way there has been a complete new (used) gearbox cluster fitted along with bearings, a proper KH 400 clutch - one of the PO's had fitted a 250 clutch so no wonder it slipped. Loads of other odd's and sod's done as well, for example a new set of piston rings - pistons and bores are in tolerance, and, and........

Sorted out the side stand, also fitted the home made end cans.

Has it all been worth it?

All being well I will fire it up at the weekend, not insured so cant take it for a run.
