The Featherbed was always a longish reach to the bars & Laurie, my Sprint GT is a straight arms machine, but the Norton bars were almost unreachable, a good 4" further away than the Triumph.
I mentioned it to one of the staff & he said it was because my generation are shorter than the average younger riders who are the target market. I'm 5'8" with 31" inside leg (more if I have my boots on and longish arms that make me a knuckle-dragger when walking.
