Worn in conjunction with (Zero Fit?) leggings or long-johns?
If no, your feet got cold because the blood lost heat going down your legs (as mentioned in a previous thread, legs have more surface area compared to volume than the trunk).
If yes, fail ime - I've always had poor circulation in my feet (used to suffer chilblains every winter as a kid); even when I used to commute year-round, only got cold feet if my legs weren't warm enough.
>If you wiggle your toes around a little it definatley makes a difference
With respect, you paid £25 for socks that you have to remember to wiggle your toes to keep 'em warm? Seriously?
Cold ride in prospect now, I wear my skiing underlayers - cheap Surfanic long-johns, not-so-cheap (but nowhere near £25) Nordica socks. Risking telling you something you know already, long-johns should only reach a bit below the knees, so the (near knee-length) socks don't overlap the long-johns by much, particularly don't overlap inside the boots so no chance of constricting circulation to the feet in the lower leg and ankle areas.
Hth?
