Wasted day myself. I decided to change the oil on the ZX-9R, & fit a magnetic sump plug. I bought the bike nearly 2 years back. Normally change the oil as soon as I buy a bike, but didn't. Due to knee issues, only done c. 200 miles.
Take out the sump plug. Ah, PO has already fitted a magnetic one. The oil that came out was nearly as clear as the new stuff.
I did discover another thing that's getting harder as I get older, the balancing act of putting the bike on/off the paddock stand.
