And somewhere in the bilges of my memory I recall someone developing a 2 stroke that doesn't use a petrol / oil mix for both fuel and lubrication, instead pure petrol for combustion and entirely separate oil for lubrication.
This could explain the "intake valves operated by a camshaft" mentioned in the Visordown article and would remove the blue haze associated with 2 strokes.
So no more "I love the smell of 2T in the morning"
