I don't lock up my bike on a trip, but then again I tend not to go places where they might get stolen. No recreational ride of mine includes cities, because I hate 'em.

My stops on a multi-day olde bike trip tend to be B&Bs, campgrounds, or friends houses. When I stop to eat, it's generally a small town where I can stop by a place where I can look out of a window and keep an eye on the bike.


Fifty three years and nothing stolen yet....
