Being honest I find it hard to back off, but backing off is probably the best way of handling these situations as you never know what they are likley to do, could well end up being stabbed these days.

Last year I worked hard at restraining myself, and only had one confrontation with a total tw*t but since that was in a busy high street I felt fairly safe.

Must try harder this year and keep 100% confrontation free.

At the end of the day confronting these sort of people achieves nothing - just watch some of the cop programmes, stopping repeat offenders seem commonplace.

Guess that your best approach is to always wear a camera and hand the footage over to the cops, if they can be bothered.
