Today I thought, despite the claggy, wet roads, that I'd take the AJS out after fixing its mag.

Started first kick and cruised 60 miles around the local area with zero issues. Then started first kick after fuelling up.

That's more like it. The only issue I have now is the throttle tends to sit at a high idle. I think this might be me setting the pilot air screw too far out so I've raised the throttle stop a fraction and screwed the pilot screw further in. Next time we'll see if that's an improvement. I can pull the revs down to tickover by letting the clutch out for a second in gear but it's obviously not quite right. About a billion times nicer than it was though!

Onwards and upwards. Went out to clean the carp off it carrying a bucket of cold water. The handle snapped and the bucket emptied itself on me!!
