Was out on the Ninja 9 earlier. Usual 'exercise' route had diversions on it, so I had a wander. Passed through a few lanes I hadn't been down for many years.
In a village, there was a mum & her toddler. On seeing the bike, she crouched down next to him & pointed, encouraging him to wave.
I waved back & beeped the horn - the look on his face warmed the cockles of this old heart.
When I got home, found myself wondering - what will the biking world be like when he is old enough to ride one?
