Last year at the Stafford Motorcycle show I treated myself to go and watch the wall of death. It took me back to the good old 60's when we would often ride to Southend and go to the Kursaal funfair. This is when I first watched the crazy wall of death riders. Remember watching opened mouth at the skilled riding. At the end they used to say they are riding without injury insurance and if we would like to drop any money down at the end it would help them. We always did and I think I used to throw a half a crown coin in which those days was a lot of money. At Stafford they keep tradition going and this time I threw in a £2 coin.
