Most things are taxed here including the pensions if you go over about 12,500 pounds. Its not nice when the pension, including my private pension does not come close to the minimum wage level if working.
I am lucky i made early provision for retirement in buying a house when aged 20 and saving. I live comfortably due to thinking ahead. My ebay profit is very low and i donate 10 percent of some sales to a charity, together for short lives and red cross.
I suppose i have diddled the inland revenue a little by selling parts so going to stop it all soon
