Cost saving, would not surprise me at all, TUD. I was happy with one of my Type 2 meds, Ozempic, which I self injected once a week. Then I got taken off it & put on something that had nasty side effects. You don't want to know... Now they've put me on something else. Awaiting blood test results.
Now, why did they take me off the Ozempic, which I had no issues with during the 2 years I was taking it? Would it have been as 'influencers' started going on about it being a miracle slimming drug, supplies ran low & cost went up?
Never got a straight reply from the NHS about it.
