The boy has done quite a few of the campervan welding jobs where he has to weld in a frame to stop the body caving in due to its rust. Best one was needing the entire front panel including windscreen surround. No one locally would take the job on.
Welding is his favourite job in the garage and Woodbury garage and Adams garage in Exmouth send their welding jobs down. he did weld for the Jaguar dealer in Exeter for a bit until they were able to employ their own body repairer.
He does a few classic bike frame repairs and not long ago made an oil tank from a drawing.
A few Porsche welds but being galvanised now, not very many but the 70s and 80s models do rust mainly behind side skirts
