So just what has been off the road all this time? It’s a Riley 15/6 Falcon saloon motorcar. It’s last road tax ran out at the end of March 1966 and today it made it’s first tentative (both car and driver) return to the road. 15 for the treasury or taxation horse power and 6 for the number of cylinders.
Not like a modern car, no power steering, no servo brakes and coupled to a Wilson preselector gear box. Like me, not this years model.
