Up to you but ... only time I clipped a white line in the wet and fell off was in 1978 (familiar road, I was taking more care 'cos it was wet ... ). Damaged myself (still got the scars) but, if I'd given up riding then, I wouldn't have all the great memories I have.

I like the occasional classic trackday. I know I ride a little bit harder than I do on the road because the tyres don't have any 'chicken strips' after a trackday. All part of the fun.

Would I do a track-day in the rain, even if I'd paid for it? No. Because it's supposed to be fun.
