For some reason, we have an American war memorial in our local play park so a few people will attend that but i expect many will be at the 2 wars cross in the Strand Gardens.

Of course, at Torcross, a lot of Americans died at practice when they fell in the water with full kit on and drowned. It was kept secret from the families that they had drowned in the UK
