When I lived in Shropshire working shifts, I had a regular 40 mile circuit. I would do it first on the Mirage, then on a GPz900. Didn't often get the brakes & gear levers confused, but it would happen sometimes!
Nowadays the power contrast is more marked. The Innova 125 has less than 10bhp, 9/1100 a little more. Do occasionally grab for a (non existent) clutch lever on the 125 - and after a long lay off forgot to use it on the 900 once, putting it into 1st. Luckily stayed upright & no witnesses!
