In Exmouth Wednesday, a man and wife were in Victoria way at an MOT garage and the woman was arguing and told the man she is having a divorce. Later that Evening, the man shot her dead with a shotgun then killed himself. There was a lot of information well before the police announcement of the deaths on facebook. The garage mechanic sent the info out and it spread fast.
Police will still not confirm its a murder suicide. Just that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
Pretty rare to have 2 shotgun deaths in Exmouth. Last killing was when a young man bought a Royal Marine assault rifle stolen from Lympstone camp. He pulled the trigger and 5 rounds in his head. Up at Withycombe church. The man who sold him the gun got 3 years in clink.
Once a major occurence happens here, you can hear all the stories before it goes to press from many Townsfolk.
