My Grandad was born and lived in Tavistock as a child. Later on move to Okehampton and then Moreton hampstead. My gran was at Liskeard making pasties after WW1. There is a picture of her in Trago Mills Liskeard in a group making shells for WW1 in 1916.
When you are at Tavi, look for Brentor church up on top of a hill. Climb up it and a lot of my old family are buried in the churchyard. Kinsmen surname of my Gran
