Isn't it? I bought a pair of Dial-a-Rides for my lovely newly acquired Mille GT.

In the usual way of old bikes it turned out I bought them from the first owner who had it for 28yrs and did the full rebuild and refurb. Lots of happy chatting resulted!

Before that we were on Anglesey last week. Drove there and back through the length of Wales to avoid motorways and saw no mad motorcyclists at all - only a number of very sensibly dressed and riding ones. Perhaps the mad ones are all victims of their own madness by this time of year. Actually fewer bikes in North Wales than for many years past - very surprising.

I think you're into something with the seeing you and pulling out anyway, Geoff. The stats for Scotland this year show 13 fatalities so far. In the same period last year there were four. Perhaps the roads have become more hostile than before with the tank-driving brigade thinking they own them.
