There seems a lot of dissatisfaction with pay rises and people saying that prices are rising too much for essentials. I had a 1.7 percent increase on pension then, suddenly, they say inflation is near 4 percent. Many on these ships maybe spending what they were left by parents having a great time before the long rest. Surprising to see so many often in their 80s still running around quite well.
Where i see a recession is all the banks and Post offices shutting. Half of the shops in town are now charity shops and all over the place, there are food collectors to hand food to the poor. Shops are now asking to add a donation to your card payments for charities.
